Share Your Story

Every number has a name, every name has a story, and every story matters to God. We are so grateful for the way your story has intersected with ours. Please take a moment to share one of your favorite NCC moments. Some examples might be:

  • Your baptism story
  • A memorable missions trip
  • When you met your spouse
  • A funny memory
  • Your favorite small group
  • A sermon series that impacted you

Use the space below to share your meaningful moment or memory and we will add it to the timeline. Don't forget to put a duration; if it was a range, use the start date. If your memory fails you, use your best guess.

Twenty years ago, Lora and I inherited a core group of nineteen people and started pastoring National Community Church. It’s been a joyride ever since! I’m so grateful for the privilege of serving as your Lead Pastor. As I look back on two decades, I can’t help but say SO FAR SO GOD.

Our story has been populated with and propelled by an incredible community of shareholders. Many of you came for school, an internship, or your first job out of college. Some of you invested for a season and then moved to a new place, taking a little of our heart and DNA with you. Others of you found a home, met your spouse, or raised your kids here. But whether you were part of our story for 2 months or 20 years, you have played a unique role in the story God is writing in and through NCC. This website provides a place for you to share your stories, your memories or a fun experience you had at NCC.

While we celebrate the faithfulness of God over the past 20 years, we realize that what God did yesterday sets the stage for what he will do tomorrow. We have a great foundation. We are going to keep baptizing people, loving our city, investing in missions, creating spaces for the church and community to intersect, and reflecting the creativity of God. We are going to keep dreaming big, praying hard, and thinking long. Because the BEST IS YET TO COME.

NCC Kids are an important part of NCC’s story!

Here’s how kids can celebrate at the 20-Year:

  • Family Reception: Enjoy a treat, take a photo with the Crosswalk Dog, and hang out with other NCC families
  • Bring something for our Crosswalk Kids Time Capsule!

Here are some ideas:

  • Have your child write a note or draw a picture that will be seen 20 years from now!
  • Share a photo of your child or your family.
  • Invite your child to share a toy or game with kids 20 years from now! Put your Time Capsule gift in a sandwich-sized bag with your child’s nameand age written on it. Bring it along to the Family Reception!

We invite all kids to join us for the main celebration at 6pm.

We will have free child care for infants - preschool.

Spaces are limited!
