Looking for 2 CF to fill two open spots in our charming home!

We are looking for two wonderful woman to fill two room available in September 1 in our four-bedroom brick home (”The Parsonage”). The house has two full bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, dining room, basement (with washer/dryer). Hardwood floors, working fireplace, and a backyard and front yard with lawn and mature shade trees help make this a lovely home, but the best part about it is the community developed among the housemates!

The available two bedrooms are both spacious, upstairs rooms with windows and large closet spaces. There is driveway parking and easy access to major highways in and out of DC. We are also a 1-mile walk to Clarendon or a quick bus ride to Rosslyn. Utilities usually run $80-100 per month depending on the season. One bedroom is $685 and the other is $640. If there are two of you who want to move in together perfect! We are also more than willing to have two individuals move in.

Christian Female Seeking Room or Like-Minded Roommate(s)

I’m looking to move out of my current apartment towards the end of August and into something with a new roommate (or roommates). I do have a car so I would need parking, but I don’t mind living further out from the city center. I should also note that I have quite a bit of furniture, some of which I don’t mind selling if need be. But if you don’t have anything for the living, dining, or kitchen space, I’ve got it covered. In terms of lifestyle, I am a 3rd year graduate student and work for DHS. I love hanging out and being social, but I also appreciate my alone time and am respectful of personal space. I’m allergic to most pets aside from dogs, and I have asthma, so smoking is not an option. Social driking is fine though. I like to keep things clean, and I am a bit of a conservationist (recycling, cutting off lights, not letting the water run all day and night). Much of my free time is spent watching movies, listening to music, or doing something sports related. I’m also actively involved at NCC as a ministry and small group leader.

In terms of the financial aspect, I really would like to spend no more than $800/month. If I could spend less than that, it would be GREAT. My apartment was broken into a couple weeks ago and my laptop was stolen, so money is a little tight for me right now. Just praying and believing for God’s provision.

Need a bed when you move into your new place?

This full-sized Sealy Verda Firm mattress is in great shape. The mattress has been fully covered and protected by a vinyl mattress cover during the time I’ve had it. No stains or anything wrong with it!

I’m selling the full set:
- Box spring
- Full Mattress
- Frame, which has wheels that lock

The frame with wheels is great, so you can transport it easily, and then lock it into place. Also, there have been no smokers, pets, or kids in the house to contribute to the wear and tear.

All pieces of the set are under two years old, and like I said, they’re in great condition and very comfortable. I’m moving, so I have to get rid of it soon. Pick up only, but I live in a row house on a quiet street with plenty of parking, so pick up shouldn’t be difficult.

I have one bedroom available in a four-story, 2000 square foot townhouse in Rosslyn for $1200 a month. The townhouse has three bedrooms and a two-car garage. It’s about as convenient a location as you could hope for. The Blue and Orange Metro Lines are one block away; DC is the next stop; and Georgetown is just across the bridge. A supermarket is one block away, so it’s perfect if you have don’t have a car although a garage space comes with the room.

Another Christian lawyer and I will be living there. The price is $1200, which is as cheap as you can find for the proximity to the Metro and DC. The room will be available starting September 1 (or a few days before that). My organization, World Learning, is running two summer exchange programs for Iraqi teens and adult mentors across the United States. We have an immediate need for 3-5 loving host families in San Diego, to host 4 Iraqi students, ages 15-18, and 1 adult mentor.

Christian Female Seeking Housing and/or Roommates ASAP

My name is Hannah Smock and I have just accepted a job with a non-profit organization in DC. I need to relocate to the area ASAP (before August 15 if at all possible). I am seeking housing, either to live alone in a small studio or one bedroom apartment, or to share housing with Christian female roommates.

I will be living on a tight budget and thus seek to rent a place for $800 per month or less (if all utilities are included, I am willing to rent for up to $900). Also, I do not have a car and so I am seeking a place with convenient access to public transportation (preferably Red Line metro) so that I can get to work. The office where I will be working is located close to Union Station and Ebenezer’s.

Although I will be living on a tight budget, I am eager to explore Washington, DC and meet new people. I love to travel, learn languages, experience new cultures, and enjoy sports, the outdoors, reading, and writing. I would welcome clean, considerate responsible roommates who share a sense of adventure and spontaneity. For health reasons, I need to live with, or rent from, non-smokers who do not own cats in the place where I would be living. Other than that, I’m very flexible when it comes to roommates and places to live.

Looking for a Christian female roommate to share two bedroom condo in NW DC. Rent would be $900/month and includes all utilities, plus the condo comes fully furnished with the exception of the bedroom.

About the place - I currently live in a lovely two-bedroom condo in a quiet neighborhood (Cathedral Heights, very close to Georgetown) a ten minute walk away from American University and the National Cathedral. The apartment has all new windows with great views (bay windows in the bedrooms & living room) and new flooring and fixtures in the bathroom. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen. Our neighbors are very quiet, and there is a Starbucks, Rite Aid, & nice restaurant (Chef Geoff’s) only a few minutes away. The grocery store is also within walking distance. There is a metro bus stop right outside the building, which goes to the Dupont Circle metro. The building is very secure with 24-hour concierge service.

What I’m looking for in a nutshell - a roommate who is responsible, clean, and considerate, and also someone who is ok with the ground rules of no wild parties and no guys staying over (the occasional brother or guy friend on the couch is fine). I also need someone who would be willing to sign a one year lease beginning in September. The room will be available for rent starting August 15 (tennant would pay $450 for that month).

I’ve got a nice 2 bed/1 bath condo in the Shirlington area of Arlington, an excellent location off of I-395 coming available Aug. 15 or after.

Large 2nd bedroom & closet. Very safe, quiet neighborhood. W/d, fireplace, deck, lots of open parking! $650 includes all utilities and wireless internet. I work in student ministry, and I’d like a mature Christian who enjoys hospitality in the home. (What’s the down side? It’s not on metro line, though bus to metro is close).
