Hurts, habits, and hang-ups – we’ve all got them. Join a community of people who have recognized they are powerless to change themselves and are seeking freedom in Christ together.
Celebrate Recovery meets every Wednesday night and you are welcome to join at any time! We kick off with dinner at 6:15pm, but if you can’t make it by then, no problem! Our large group meeting (which includes worship, teaching, and testimony) starts at 7pm and then we split into gender-specific small groups at 8pm. Those wrap up at 9pm and then you’re invited to stick around for dessert and fellowship.
Our meetings take place at The Miracle Theatre (535 8th Street SE), just a couple blocks from the Eastern Market metro station (blue/orange/silver lines). Dinner is available beginning at 6:15pm next door above the Sherwin Williams paint store (533 8th Street SE).
The Landing -- Celebrate Recovery for high school students -- meets one block away at 530 7th Street SE. Dinner is available at The Landing starting at 6:30pm, with the meeting beginning at 7pm.
More information available here. Email Ryan Zempel at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. We hope you can join us!

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered ministry that gives people the resources and relationships to help find a new way of living. This ministry is for anyone struggling with past or current hurts, habits, or hang-ups, whether they are affecting their own life or the lives of those around them. The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to find God's healing power in our lives through the Eight Recovery Principles found in the Beatitudes and the Christ-centered Twelve Steps. By working the Christ-centered steps and applying their Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from the pain of our pasts and the destructive behaviors of our present. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and more importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God, others, and our One and Only Higher Power, Jesus Christ.
We meet every Wednesday night, year-round! Feel free to join at any time!
