Make a Difference in Local Schools

Mission, Service & Outreach

Every human need that exists, exists all together within schools. We are committed to seeing and responding to those needs at Eastern High School and to the slow repair of relationship between local schools and the Church. Eastern High School was founded in 1890 and educates approximately 1,100 students each school year. With 1,100 students to care for, you can imagine the need is vast. Therefore we want to rally behind this generation, finding creative ways to help them succeed academically, cheering the loudest at their extra curricular activities and being present as they navigate some their toughest years.

Many of these students just need to know that someone sees them, and that someone's going to show up for them consistently. This is Jesus.

We will meet together once a month to pray and plan for how to serve Easter High School. Then we will show up for them through tutoring, mentoring and the often overlooked form of discipleship, not taking yourself too seriously and having some fun! Will you join us in becoming an active part in the life-changing impact that showing up once a week for a student can make on an entire city?
