We value each child and family that comes to NCC! Crosswalk Kids is a special place designed for kids. We believe each child is created to have a relationship with God and with unique talents and abilities to influence their world and community. Our hope is that each child will have an insatiable interest to be a part of God’s Church.
Below is a list of the kids programming and age groups that we offer at this campus. To read more about Family Ministry, Crosswalk Kids, how to connect and what to expect on your first weekend, please click here.
Infants to 23 months
The littlest ones of Crosswalk Kids are important to us! Our volunteers are loving people who will provide a well-supervised and engaging environment for your child. We believe that even babies can learn how much God loves them! Lil’ CWK opens for check-in 15 minutes prior to service. Upon check-in, you will receive a security badge. When service concludes, you can pick up your child at their class by presenting your matching security badge.
2 years old through kindergarten
Our preschool program is an interactive environment where your child will learn about God through stories in the Bible, games, and crafts that they can bring home! In each lesson, we seek to communicate three key phrases that we believe are important foundations. We teach them: God made me, God loves me, Jesus wants to be my friend forever. The Crosswalk Kids check-in table opens 15 minutes prior to the service. Upon check-in, you will receive a security badge. After completing the check-in process, your children will go with you to the service. They are dismissed to Crosswalk Kids by the Campus Pastor. When service concludes, you can pick up your child at their class by presenting your matching security badge.
6th through 12th grade
Uprising Youth Ministry is for students in 6th through 12th grade. We are a multi-site student ministry that gathers weekly with students from across NCC's eight locations both in DC and Northern Virginia. We offer four weekly gatherings in DC, NoVA, Ballston and Gainesville. For more information about service times and locations, click here. Our weekly gatherings consist of worship, a message that initiates discussions in our middle school and high school small groups that meet onsite. We have incredible leaders that have committed for the entire school year to invest in your kids. They have gone through training, a background check, application process and interview and we are confident in their ability to support both students and their families.
