Jan 23, 2009 · 11:21 AMWelcome to the Northern Ireland Team blog! Today, we are four weeks away from our adventure, and we are so glad that you have decided to journey with us! My name is Heather Zempel, and I serve as the Discipleship Pastor at National Community Church. I also have the privilege of serving as Team Lead for this amazing Northern Ireland Team.
Our team will be working with Cornerstone City Fellowship in Derry, Northern Ireland. We are really excited about working with Norman McCorkell and the other amazing folks at the church. Here are some of the things they have asked us to do:
- Serve on Street Pastors
- Present at school assemblies
- Serve at their weekend worship gathering and Seven service
- Hang out with their youth group and women’s ministry
- Visit home groups
- Teach at Home Group forum
- Provide media and video training
- Create video promotional tools
We will use this site to post prayer requests, team devotionals, pictures, and updates from our trip. From previous experience, I know that team members greatly appreciate your prayers and encouragement—especially when they can read them. So feel free to use the comment feature below.
