Chris Douglas is a worship pastor and songwriter who is passionate for Jesus and His kingdom. Chris’s music is born out of the worship life of the local church.

Chris’s love for music led him to Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA, where he earned a BFA in Musical Theatre. Over the last decade of ministry, Chris fell in love with the Alpha Course, speaking locally and internationally at Alpha weekends and teaching on the gift of healing.

Steph Andrews

Worship Leader and Ministry Assistant to the Worship Director

Steph Andrews is a worship leader and admin guru at National Community Church. She moved to DC with her husband Dan in 2014 to be a part of the Protégé Program. Steph took a circuitous route into music and ministry, having first studied Molecular Biology and Genetics at the University of Pittsburgh. This background developed a sense of wonder in the deep complexity of God, and she loves the role worship plays in continuing to tell His story. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation, learning new languages, storytelling, and traveling with Dan.
