  • Service Time:

Welcome to NCC Gainesville. We meet every week at 10:00 a.m. at the Regal Stadium 14 in The Promenade at Virginia Gateway. One of our core values is that irrelevance is irreverence, so each Sunday we attempt to explore principles, values, and a faith that is relevant to your every day life.

We look forward to meeting you this coming Sunday!

  • What to expect

The NCC Gainesville campus has a casual, come-as-you-are vibe that usually runs for a little over an hour. Since we are in a movie theater, seating is comfortable and comes with a cup holder. We want to maximize these cup holders, so we provide coffee upon entering. Follow the signs to our main theater.

Our time starts out with congregational singing with our live band. Everyone is invited to participate in the worship and singing. Following a time of singing and worship, there is a life-giving, scripture-based message via video on the big screen. After the service, many people take the opportunity to hang out in the Promenade or grab a bite to eat together.

For those with families, we have a nursery for infants - 2 years old that is available for the entire service. For kids 2 years old - 5th grade, parents may take their child into the service in the theater, and then following the congregational singing, the children are dismissed to join our children's program called "NCC Kids." Parents can pick up their child during or after the service. All our children's workers have completed a background check.

The best way to find out more about NCC Gainesville is to experience it for yourself, so we hope you'll do just that. We look forward to meeting you soon!

  • Families & Kids

We value each child and family that comes to NCC! NCC Kids is a special place designed for kids. We believe each child is created to have a relationship with God and with unique talents and abilities to influence their world and community. Our hope is that each child will have an insatiable interest to be a part of God’s Church.

Below is a list of the kids programming and age groups that we offer at this campus. To read more about Family Ministry, please click here.

    Babies

    Infants to 23 months

The littlest ones of NCC Kids are important to us! Our volunteers are loving people who will provide a well-supervised and engaging environment for your child. We believe that even babies can learn how much God loves them! Babies opens for check-in 15 minutes prior to service.  Upon check-in, you will receive a security badge. When service concludes, you can pick up your child at their class by presenting your matching security badge.

    Preschool

2 years old through 5 years old

Our preschool program is an interactive environment where your child will learn about God through stories in the Bible, games, and crafts that they can bring home! In each lesson, we seek to communicate three key phrases that we believe are important foundations.  We teach them: God made me, God loves me, Jesus wants to be my friend forever.  The NCC Kids check-in table opens 15 minutes prior to the service.  Upon check-in, you will receive a security badge.  After completing the check-in process, your children will go with you to the service.  They are dismissed to NCC Kids by the Campus Pastor.  When service concludes, you can pick up your child at their class by presenting your matching security badge.

    Elementary

    Kindergarten - 5th grade

Our elementary environment includes interactive worship, a Bible story presentation, activities, games, and small group time with a consistent leader.  Each month, we focus on a virtue based on a Biblical principle. In each lesson, we seek to help kids understand three key principles: I need to make wise choices, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

There may be some costs associated with some of our Bible Study choices, but minimal. We will also have optional child care that you can use at your discretion. We are looking forward to having you join us!

    • Gainesville NCC Youth Small Groups

Why should every teenager be in a Small Group? NCC Youth Small Groups exist to provide a safe place for students to feel known, discuss real topics, find mentorship and develop meaningful friendships.

Studies show that about 60% of students who grow up in the Church walk away from their faith after graduation, BUT if a child has one meaningful relationship with someone other than mom or dad who examples faith and what it means to actually follow Jesus, this percentage begins to significantly decline. At NCC Youth our adult leaders are advocates of students and partners with parents.

NCC Youth Small Groups happen within NCC Youth Ministry for ages 6th-12th grade.

We believe our young people are not the soon-to-be or future Church, but the Church today. We believe difference making can start now with this generation, age is no disqualifier.

    • A1:8 Mission Team - Waynetown, Indiana

      Date: : July 13, 2019 - July 20, 2019

      Cost: $750

Leaders: Pam Gilray and Patrick Gooley

This mission team will take you into the heartland of America where we will focus on community development through building renovations and conversations with the people of Waynetown, Indiana. For the fourth year, we will be joining forces with former NCCers, Brad and Kathryn Eads and their ministry Be the Church. Brad and Kathryn Eads were leading an NCC small group in 2015 when God called them to go back to their hometown of Waynetown, to be the church in the middle of the marketplace. They put their trust in God, relocated, started their ministry, Be the Church, and began working to bring life and blessing to the town.

NCC has come alongside them with annual mission teams to aid in their work. Over the years, our teams have built a community park, renovated the pizza restaurant, built an outdoor pergola, demolished old walls, painted, cleaned, and hosted a community event. We have met the people being blessed and encouraged by all Brad and Kathryn are doing. The 2019 team will continue to renovate old buildings, host a community event, and spend time with the locals. No expertise is required, just a willing heart and good work ethic! Join us as we encourage and support Brad and Kathryn to do the work God has called them to do.

      GREAT FOR FIRST TIME

    • Writer’s Group

This group will meet monthly at a coffee shop in VA. Writers of all stages are welcome: pre-beginners, beginners, bloggers, podcast writers, published authors etc...

Each month we will discuss a topic about the skill of writing. Topics will be chosen in advance so group members can gather credible resources they think will be helpful to the group.

Example topics: blogging, compiling book proposals, common grammar mistakes, crafting a killer first sentence, the necessary evil of marketing, devotion writing.

We may even experiment with a writing prompt from time to time!

Each meeting will end with prayer for our writing journeys.

Our hope is to create a long term monthly gathering of fellow writers. But as of right now walk-ins are warmly welcomed.

Hope to see you there. Bring a notebook!

    • Gainesville Men’s Group

Get together with other men from the Gainesville Campus and be challenged by each other, laugh together, eat together, read some scripture, talk, and eat some food. We'll meet monthly at different times. Hope you can join us!
