    The Sex Talk(s) Event

    The Sex Talk(s)

When it comes to sex, most parents—and the Church—have done a woefully inadequate job of casting a positive vision of sex, instead reducing it to a list of dos and don'ts. Mostly don'ts. This represents a significant failure to fully understand and live out deep spiritual truths about our relationships, our bodies, our desires, and indeed the very meaning of life.

This Fall, we are excited to bring in three speakers—Dr. Tremper Longman, Kyle Bowman, and Rev. Josh Glaser—to cast a positive Christian vision of sex and to help us all better understand God’s plan and purpose for our lives. Hope you can join us!

    Kyle Bowman
Kyle is a native Washingtonian. She was raised in a Christian home but did not have a personal relationship with Jesus. She spent 11 years trying to find life in same-sex relationships. Through the love, care, and prayers of family and friends, she sensed the Lord calling her into a personal relationship with Him. Part of her journey to wholeness was finding Regeneration Ministries. After attending one of their programs, Kyle became active as a small group leader and in 2014 was asked to join the staff. Today she serves as the DC Metro Director for Regeneration. Her duties include individual and group spiritual coaching, teaching for ministry programs, and speaking at workshops and conferences. Kyle has a Bachelor’s in Communication from Bowie State University, a Certificate in Biblical Studies and a Master’s in Christian Counseling & Discipleship from Capital Seminary & Graduate School. In her spare time she pursues her passion for genealogy and spending time with her four-legged friend Niko.

    Rev. Josh Glaser
Josh is the Executive Director of Regeneration, a ministry that creates safe communities where men and women grow in intimacy with Jesus, that those who are caught in cycles of sexual sin can find freedom and those who have been hurt by the sexual sin of others experience healing. For 35 years, Regeneration has served thousands seeking freedom from pornography, promiscuity, homosexuality, adultery, and prostitution, as well as the wounds of past sexual abuse in Maryland, Northern Virginia, and around the globe.

Josh grew up in Colorado where he lived until 1996 when he moved to Maryland and encountered the profound ministry that is Regeneration, first in his own pursuit of freedom from sexual addiction, then as a member of the ministry staff. Josh has served as Executive Director since 2006.

Josh’s heart is to help men and women experience the life and love of Christ in the areas of their lives where they need Him most. Josh has been married to his beautiful wife, Jamie, since 2001 and acquired a love of coffee sometime amidst the births of their three daughters and one son.
