    School Supply Drive Event

    School Supply Drive

NCCers, please bring new school supplies to the NCC Kids check-in table Sunday, August 12. All donations go directly to children at our local partner schools and organizations!
Here's a shopping list you can download.
Here's where the supplies are going:

    Barracks Row &  Lincoln Theatre:
The DC Dream Center is a center for community where the needs of people in our city, especially youth, are met. From mentoring and tutoring to personal development and legal assistance, the DC|DC encompasses a spectrum of programs from low-barrier after-school activities and tutoring, to programs that offer deeper engagement such as one-on-one mentoring.

The Children's Guild DC. This charter school, located just behind our Echostage location, is a nonprofit, child-serving organization dedicated to serving children and adolescents with trauma disorders, who have been traumatized by life experiences or who have autism spectrum disorder and/or multiple disabilities. The majority of the students are below the poverty line and will be blessed to receive anything our NCC family can donate!

Pinnacle Academy: a private school in the Oakton area.  This year the school sponsored many Turkish families seeking refuge in our area. The children and their families left everything behind to escape persecution from their government. Let's help them feel welcome and get their new school year off to a great start.

Koinonia Foundation is a faith-based organization called to support adults and children in the Franconia/Kingstowne area by providing food, clothing, learning and emergency financial assistance to qualified clients.

    Potomac Yard
Casa Chirilagua is a Christian nonprofit  in a Latino neighborhood in Alexandria, Virginia. Over 100 weekly volunteers serve more than 80 children and their families. Our mission is “Developing relationships with families to see the Chirilagua neighborhood transformed by Christ.”
