Prayer in Groups

Prayer in Groups

Our challenge to you is to creatively think of ways that you can integrate prayer into the structure of your small groups on a consistent basis. Our hope is that a culture of prayer would exist in your small group that would bring about active prayer in the lives of the people in your small group and the shared testimony of the prayers that have been answered.  God loves real talk and so there are a couple of things we recommend for making prayer the central focus of your group. Open and close with prayer in your time together. Keep a prayer journal, ask for personal prayer yourself as the leader, follow through on prayer requests, and share wins regularly. If one is in need of additional prayer help outside of your group, encourage them to make a prayer appointment or an inner healing appointment. Groups flourish when we are actively praying for each other in our group.
