Here I am

It begins with a simple declaration of geographical presence, but it never ends there. We find that before we say “Here I am,” the omnipresent God has already flooded our space with his presence and extended to us an invitation. As we are available, God commands. As we are obedient, he is glorified. The pages of God’s story turn by leaders who seek his presence and find that being in it changes everything. They answer his call not with confidence and big ideas…but with an acknowledgement of availability, a declaration of dependence and a commitment to obedience, no matter the cost.
